I thought Dieter was 801, but 802 looks like the real deal. 87 rings a bell. Brian's was 70. JE44 or was that 564. I remember in 87 when Ellington was the man to beat. He flat out hauled ... 210-Brandon Kuhn? He's not on my top 20, so it's someone else with 210. The 287 guess isn't on my top 20 (someone else) That's 12 out of 20 correct for je44.

He did set me straight on the 801 (802)

Mike Robinson was also 210. My bad.
Some of those names may not have made ur list, but they did have those numbers. Good job on 87 for deiter. Also 564 was my second pro number, but what pro number did I run the longest? Oh and no I was never close to two digits. Lol
je
Think there was a tom Braun that also ran the 287?

210-Mike Robinson, 7 to go. I'll have to do my homework on that one Joe. I think it started with a 6.

k, it's on! (all in good fun of course) Scott McCarty was 22, Troy Bradshaw I always remember as #1, Teddy Antonucci a #92, Scott Page??? I thought #501 but not sure? His brother Mark(RIP) was #513, Flyin Brian Austin #377 or one national #70 as you stated. I remember Andy Stacy as #43 (one short of the good #) I'm guessing now that Matt Herman is #801 still got me on that dude? Rememder the namwe of course not his number. I believe i had the rest of them?
Oh and must be Scott Page #287
je
MR> Mxracer dude! Whom ever you be? Do you know what # Jammin Jimmy Woolrigde started his career with?

Scratchin' the noggin here....513 Mark Page? His brother Scott Page had a national number also. Ron Nye had a number. Brian A. was 377. MR was 750 (1970's) then 210 and 890 (1980's), probably some others too. I was 750 for '84/'85. Rich Dool was 270. Can't remember Dave or Pete Phillip's numbers. Skip K. rode some pro events. Dave Hoag rode some events. Damon was 510.....
What was the question?

And 44 had the best seat in the house! It was just so much work to get there.

I thought Brian Austin was 287, but I've been wrong before. (Dieter 801 for example) I do remember Brian as 377, but was he ever 287? je44 had 12 correct, but that was then. Top 10 expert numbers don't count either. That means Troy Bradshaw had a number?? You remember him as #1 because he had the #1 plate. Scott Page (je44 didn't know for sure) Bruce Stratton-wasn't 72 one of his many national numbers? 47 was his best as was Coleman's. Joe's got everyone beat so far. Here's what he's got correctly:
1.387-Paul Austin
2.554-Chris Coleman
3.531-Pete Malyj
4.510-Ben Dressner
5.706-Billy Silvarole
6.23-Jimmy Woolridge
7.12-Mark Busher
8.749-Donnie Schmidt
9.615-Danny Hafner
10.802-Aaron Dieter
11.203-Bob Kiniry
12.72-Paul Carpenter
13.22-Scott McCarthy
14.92-Ted Antonucci
15.377-Brian Austin (The Wheelie King) not to mention my Favorite!!
16.210-Mike Robinson
17.Scott Page-perhaps 501???????????
18.Andy Stacy-perhaps 43, but I think that was one of his National#'s
19.Troy Bradshaw???
20.Bruce Stratton?

That gives je44 16 for sure. More than I had.

Matt Herman-477 Matt had some top ten plates. He was also the president of WNYSC for a few years and incorporated the organization.

Of course everyone doesn't agree with my top twenty. What I would like to know is if je44 thinks he should be on it? I already could boot anyone and replace them with Frank Stacy. If you belong (and many think you do) that would mean someone would have to go. ????

Three times #1....Nicely Done.

SWEET.. what did I win? lol Just kiddin. I'm upset I missed a few, but hey it was fun. As far as me making the list? Hell no, It's your list. I dont need to be on any list. I know I love racing and riding (not in the winter, sorry Ben). I've raced every year since 1976! I've seen all of the racers on your list come and go! Most of them I consider to be great friends and never would have met them, if not for this COOL sport! Many a good memories. Tks, see ya at the races! JE44

je44 Thanks for playing!! What WNY motocrosser doesn't know the 44? Everyone has a #44 memory.

My favorite: How many of you remember the Bolivar track? They use to have this HUGE single jump. I always hated that thing. I didn't like landing on the flat, (never have) especially that hard. I was standing just below that jump (along the fence) waiting to see who was going to be leading one of the expert motos. All I remember seeing first was that "44" and I couldn't believe how far he flew. That was sick air and to land on the flat to boot. I knew not many people could ever ride like that.

I did get to see Jimmy Woolridge on an 80. If I remember correctly, it was a Kawasaki. It was snowing that day at Victor and I was watching the expert 80 class and was amazed at how fast he went. A few years ago I went to Miles Mountain and saw Lowell Spangler on a 80 and was reminded of Jimmy. I can't remember Jimmys # then, but I don't think it was 23.
