As a follow up to the cool Who's Who in WNY post and Joe's mention in MXA online, did anyone catch the pic of our own Tirepimp in the latest issue of Racer X? Even one of his former employees got published in the same month... We're rubbin' elbows with royalty every weekend at the local races and on this site!

Well, I guess you and I are the only ones who saw it Scott! You're a regular Waldo - Never know where you'll pop up in the background of a photo!

What issue of RacerX are you referring to?

The credit for the find is all you MT...I got some help from out west to locate it. Bonus question: Who is the mechanic just in front of me? You worked with him some.....

Note to Ben: April 2010 issue RacerX.

I will check that issue tonight.

On a side note, I always thought it is kind of goofy that I get the April issue of a magazine in February, and in the April magazine they cover December and January news.

That's funny you ask because I can't figure out for sure who it is, I was going to ask you. Is it Shane Nalley? The guy in picture looks taller than Shane, and I don't remember Shane sporting the mullet...

Pretty sure it's Shane, pre MX Kied days. Were you around when Larry got the ear ring and was trying to hide it from his father, who just happened to come to the race that weekend? He hid in our truck most of the day...

The champion mulletteer- Jeff Glass? Ron Tichenor? Jimmy Gaddis? Grayson Hart? Bowen was sporting there too for a while....

Holy cow, mt624! Do you go through RacerX with a magnifying glass?!

I *think* I found the pic, but I am not sure. Is it page 218, the guy writing something on a clipboard, standing next to a guy with what looks like an awesome mullet? Please confirm...

Ding ding ding we have a winner. No magnifying glass Ben, just enjoyed reading about those guys since I worked with Brooks and Kehoe a lot when I worked for Scott, and he jumped out in the picture of Brooks and Donny Schmit with Shane Nalley sporting the mullet (I still think that might just be something in the background behind Shane, or dust on the lens!!!)

Scott, Larry hiding out in the truck was before my time, probably when Paul was on the road? He was transitioning from rider to manager when I worked with him.

Scott's appearance in mx images are "Where's Waldo" type phenomenon.
